Returns and refunds

Unused books: 30 days

Contact hello@idlewellpress.com within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Please include your order number. Books must be unused, unmarked, and in their original saleable condition. We will provide return instructions and the return address; please contact us before mailing anything back.

Return postage and refunds

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for return postage. We recommend a tracked service. Original shipping charges are not refunded unless we made an error or applicable law requires otherwise. There is no restocking fee.

After we receive and inspect an approved return, we will email you the outcome. If approved, we will issue the refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your payment provider may take additional time to post it. If a return is not eligible, we will explain why and discuss next steps before taking action.

Damaged, faulty, or incorrect orders

Please email us promptly with your order number and a description; photos of damage or the incorrect item help. We will work with you on an appropriate replacement or refund at our expense. This does not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Cancellations and exchanges

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or correct an order. We will try to help, but cannot guarantee changes after dispatch. For a different book or color, request a return and place a new order once availability is confirmed.
